Shipping Policy

At Local Puzzle, we take pride in crafting high-quality, made-to-order jigsaw puzzles. Because of the bespoke nature of our products, we follow a streamlined production and shipping process designed to ensure care, precision, and timely delivery.

🧩 Production Time

Each puzzle is made to order and requires careful handling and partial hand-finishing. Our standard production time is up to 3 working days from the date your order is placed.

This timeframe allows us to ensure that every puzzle meets our quality standards before it leaves the Puzzle-Lab.

🚚 Shipping Method & Delivery Timeline

Once your puzzle has been produced, it is shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48, which aims to deliver your order within 2 working days.

This means that from the time you place your order to the time it arrives at your door, you can typically expect delivery within approximately 5 working days.

We’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with a Royal Mail tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched, so you can monitor its progress.

📍 Where We Ship

We currently ship orders to addresses within the United Kingdom.

If you're outside the UK and interested in purchasing, please contact us — while we do not currently offer international shipping, we may be able to suggest options.

🕒 Delays & Operational Disruptions

While we work hard to meet our standard 5-working-day delivery estimate for our bespoke products, there may occasionally be delays due to circumstances beyond our control. These include:

  • Royal Mail service disruptions or public holidays

  • High seasonal order volumes 

  • Puzzle machinery breakdowns or production interruptions
    In rare cases, our equipment may require maintenance or repair, which could temporarily impact production time. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and keep you updated.

We recommend allowing up to 7 working days before contacting us about a delayed delivery. If your order hasn’t arrived by then, please get in touch so we can investigate and make things right.

🔄 Order Tracking & Support

As soon as your order is shipped, we’ll send a confirmation email with your Royal Mail tracking number. You can use this to track your parcel through the Royal Mail website.
